  • All of our products are imported from Thailand, however,we also have the European team (our lab situation in Montpellier, France) working with us in the field of R&D, hygiene and quality control. We met all of the European standards for food and safety. Be relief, we always make sure the product project the best for our customers and we support the local farmers!
  • Crickets eat rice bran and fruits, silkworms eat mulberry, all of their food have to be “extremely clean, free of chemicals and insecticide”,  or otherwise they will die. Insects product are incredibly truly honestly “organic”.
  • We don’t believe in brutal killings, so we use the least torturing process we can find for our insects. Crickets do not like “lights”, so we put some lights on them, they then go to another side(where we have boxes to capture them) to avoid the lights. They are not frightened eat all, and then we put ice on them, they will fall into sleep and die. Nothing tutoring at all. Silkworms too, we put some hot water on them while they “sleep” to take all the silk out of their bodies and they die in the water, peacefully.
  • Insects are fragile animals. If they feel the chemicals, they will be easily dead. That is why they must be raised far from the place where there are chemicals such as rice field, orchard, vegetable garden and etc. The vegetables used for feeding our insects must be planted our self. We may say that we use organic methods to raise our insects.
  • Of course, all of our insects are dead by being shocked in the ice which allows the insect to have the least suffer and also be the freshest possible. Eating our insects is similar to eating other kind of meats. We will not eat them while they are alive for hygienic and ethical reasons.
  • We do not recommend that you eat the insects you find in your home garden because it is not every kind of insects that we can eat. If you do not have knowledge about Entomology (about insects), you may have risk of eating insects that are not edible for human or those insects may receive chemicals from somewhere nearby. If you eat them, it will negatively affect your health. But our insects are absolutely edible. Due to the closed organic farming system by experts as well as the clean production process, our insects are clean, under the standards and verifiable before coming to your hands.
  • Our insects are simply roasted in the oven without frying and seasoned without MSG (mono sodium glutamate) nor preservatives. Only a little part that we sprayed oil to the insects after being roasted and before seasoning in order that the spices stick well to the insects.
  • Yes in older children or adolescents, but eating insects is not recommended for kids under the age of 3 years old because our insects are small and crispy. They are maybe too dry for kids and could be sticked in the throat.
  • Probably yes, insects are one of the families if you are allergic to seafood, spiders or acarids, soya and nuts, you  should try insects in a smallest amount to check if you can take it, or just avoid the product if you are not comfortable trying. Optional : consult your doctors to ensure insects are safe for you. (Please be notice, many food we eat everyday already contain insects such as juices, fruits, vegetables and the food colouring (Red colour), you probably already SAFE half way through!
  • Our cricket tastes like a Spanish appetizer called Kikones, which is roasted corn with crispy texture same as our crickets. The silk worm tastes like a nut also with crispy texture. If you like both of these menus, you will be certainly addicted to the taste of our insects!
  • Asian people eats insects for snacking all the time! If you are Asian, just try snacking, but if you are Western you might want to try eat insects as a appetisers with a glass of your favourite wine or beer OR sprinkle HISO snack on to your salad/meals as a crispy yummy complementary!
  • After the first time opening of the bag, you can our insects within 3 days but be careful to keep them in a vacuum box away from heat and sunlight.
  • We guarantee the maximum period of shelf life at 4 months with our distributors and for the customers, better to consume before the expired date indicated on the package.

  • Insects have high protein, even more than Beef and most meats! (compared to the same amount of intake). Insects provide the same Omega 3 you find in Salmon! they also provide calcium,minerals, vitamins, zinc&iron, and fibre. Oh, and don’t forget, we are 0% free of added Sugar !!!! They are all super ingredients for you body and soul !
  • Of course! Insect production project 10 times less green house gases then other animal-based protein production. Insects takes less food, water and space to grow. 9 out 10 portion of insects offer protein, insects only produce 1 portion of waste.
